Require Learner Participation
Instructor: M. Harmon
Student Practice Activities
Throughout the lesson’s entirety, students were required to participate and be active learners rather than passive ones. In our classroom. students are aware of participation and lesson involvement expectations. Throughout the whole group lesson and practice, students were expected to share and discuss their prior knowledge and findings with both the teacher and classmates to be active learners in the classroom. Throughout the lesson, students utilized their HCS issued iPad's for learning. Students are very familiar with the platforms of Google Classroom, Google Forms, and Google Slides.
Students remained engaged throughout all components of the lesson, whole group and individual learning experiences. While students were working, I continuously monitored student abilities, understandings, and misconceptions that are still occurring. Students that were struggling, received one on one guided instruction to help guide them through the process of understanding Context Clues.

Feedback
During the lesson, feedback was provided to students through verbal confirmations. Students also received personalized feedback on their Google Slides submissions in Google Classroom. Furthermore, students received feedback on their post-assessment Google Form. Students are able to access their feedback by revisiting the Google Classroom assignment post and the post assessment grade via Google Forms or PowerSchool.
